Mohamed Salah Offers Statement to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that Salah apologised to the group of players following the uproar from his public comments.

The striker was dropped from a European match after making accusations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has refused to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.

He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
Jones also noted that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Their results have stayed unbeaten in the games following the situation. He feels the forward's comments were never meant to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a good place,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, performing and on a positive run.”
