Ex- Doctor Accused of Sexual Assault Charges Against 38 Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have announced that a ex- physician has been charged with carrying out assaults involving thirty-eight victims who were under his care.
Details of the Serious Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences – comprising acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
One deputy chief prosecutor said, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Investigation
The charges follow what police described as a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

The charging documents outline the forty-five charges he is charged with:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of assault by penetration.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- One count of attempted penetrative assault.
